§ 159-4. Permit required for planting along highways.

  • No person shall plant any shade tree, shrub or other woody plant on any public highway or plant any tree, shrub or other woody plant which extends within the lines of any public highway within the City of Sunbury, until such a permit therefor is granted, such permit to designate where such tree is to be planted. The Commission may refuse a permit to plant any species of tree which in its opinion is not suited to the location. All shade trees planted shall be in accordance with the regulations herein set forth and with all rules and regulations that may from time to time be adopted by the Commission and approved by City Council.
